Are you looking to buy customizable flash drives? Or memory sticks that look neat and simply do the job? Then consider Super Talent’s DG series.
Silver DG Flash Drive by Super Talent
First of all, what does DG stand for? It could mean Dutiful Gadget. Or DonGle. Or Daringly Geeky. Or maybe it’s just Darn Good? Honestly, I don’t know. Let’s just hope it doesn’t refer to “Destructive Glitch” or something like that.
Ok, on to the useful information. As you probably guessed already, the DG series is manufactured by Super Talent. That company has been around for 20 years after it was birthed by the Silicon Valley boom. They’re specialized in memory technology and all their flash drives pride themselves on certain standards. DG memory sticks make no exception and this is what they are:
- Compatibility with U
SB 1.0 and 2.0.
- LED indicator for power and activity (at the rear).
- Hot plug & play.
- Keychain ring.
-
A
data retention of more than 10 years
.
-
Lifetime warranty.
Then we have the specifics which mark DG’s individuality:
- The different shades of black, blue, red, silver, gray and white.
-
The capacities of 128, 256 or 512MB and of 1, 2, 4, or 8GB.
-
Support for password protection
.
-
The economic size of 67.8mm x 17.2mm x 7.7mm.
- A transfer rate of up to 30MB/sec (dual channel memory).
DG Flash Drives by Super Talent
What makes DG flash drives really special though is their variety of coatings and paint. You can choose rubber or plastic and have it coated with solid, pearl or gloss paint.
Further customization can be made by imprinting your logo or name which is ideal for promotional use. The printable area is 11mm x 37mm for which silk printing is available.
Pretty neat, huh? As always, feel free to comment and share your experience with DG memory sticks. Also, let’s hear it if you have better ideas for what DG stands for. Maybe you actually know?
