DT´s Flash Drive Blog

Super Talent is the first company rolling out flash drives tailored to USB 3.0 . As the RAIDDrive was already announced in late 2009 as a highlight of speed and capacity technology, two more models have been added. The Express Drive focuses on performance & affordability while the SuperCrypt is pretty much the secure edition of the RAIDDrive.

In this series about USB duplicators I will show you different models & brands and where to buy them. Especially for those of you who are into cloning lots of flash drives or would like to get there.

Why? Well, maybe you desire to promote your marketing material, get your employees or co-workers on the same page or need to rollout a new IT project. Maybe you’re a musician and find it more hip to distribute your art on USB albums instead of old-fashioned CDs. Likewise, teachers can assign projects to their students this way and also copy their work back to the master flash drive. Simply put, USB duplication is great for backups and content providers of all types.

Multiple Joy: USB Duplicators (@ ) or ( )

Think about it – who would want to sit at their computer and manually copy one flash drive after another, spending lots of time plugging in & out and possibly deal will all sorts of errors? USB duplicators fully automate the copying process, swiftly and accurately. And best of all, most of the models are standalone which means you wont even need a computer. If your cloning projects are rather complex though, a PC connected duplicator with the accompanying software has its advantages.

Most USB duplicators can do more than just mere copying. They can also compare, verify, format and erase. And some come with internal hard disks which provide extra memory and help with project storing.

Depending on the model and size of your projects, you can create anywhere between 3 and 118 flash drive copies at once. Now that’s a lot of clones without the need for stem cells. To get a good deal on the blanks you need, you can buy flash drives in bulk which are available in quantities high & low. To find them a good home, I now give you an overview of various USB duplicators:

Aleratec Copy Tower SA
Aleratec Copy Cruiser
EZ Dupe
Hamilton Transfer Express
Kanguru USB Duplicators
Microboards CopyWriter
Nexcopy USB-PC
Spartan USB Duplicator
Spartan Super USB
Vinpower USBShark
ZipSpin

Duplicators are also available for options such as CD/DVDs , BluRay , LightScribe , Memory Cards and Hard Disks . Most convenient are All-In-One arrangements, which can include crossovers like flash drives to CD/DVD. Maybe we truly live in a multiverse after all…
